Utility in the mix

IMG_4460.JPG

Crafted with an old-world charm but reinvented with new perspective and utility -the beauty is in the mix of modern and vintage materials at Union Hall. Mixed metals & wood slabs with layered textiles and neon carry throughout the experience; I selected copper for the bar and my client was adventurous enough to agree. Never inauthentic, this finish will patina naturally with each shopper’s visit.  Walls laid in oak herringbone with copper trim is a modern riff on menswear textiles.  Shoppers can sample a craft beer (it’s easy to find under the neon sign) while they shop and lounge in the adjoining mancave with leather chairs, a live edge coffee table, and a wall of vintage crates with nooks to shop Heidi’s always-hip mix of offerings.

Crisp white walls frame clever furnishings like the found fitting room doors and benches upholstered in Pendleton wool blankets. Something interesting is always in sight-- the materials-- the wood and copper, juxtaposed to the modern lighting, pull you through the menswear offerings intuitively.  That’s what we go for- the best of design is an intuitive design, and Union Hall draws you in with timeless charm and clever touches.
